I figured since the bulk of our members are residents of the USA, it would be appropriate to send wishes for a happy 4th to everyone! I used to run a business on the Net that was primarily international so it made it a bit more difficult when to wish happy holidays to people and when it only applied to residents of this country…lol.

A quick word about payments for this month. Due to the fraud we had last month, part of the commissions that I normally use for payments is not forthcoming. As a result, payments will be going out a little late this month. I have a few checks on their way and as I always do, I will be paying my members before I take any profit for myself. You people put in excellent work and I always want to be sure that I will do everything I possibly can to make sure you realize how much it is appreciated. Besides, I have lived on ramen noodles and pasta before, a couple more weeks of it won’t be too difficult…lol.

Hey there everyone,

Well, the month ended pretty well, all things considering. I appreciate the enormous amount of work everyone did today, it was truly amazing. I spent the last couple hours chained to my computer doing approval run after approval run until it all ran together into one big approval run! It really helped ease the burden of the fraud that occurred earlier in the month as well as the difficulties that were caused by my computer snafu. All in all, while not the best month the site has had, it turned out pretty well.

Alrighty, let’s move on to July contests! I will be putting up the contests in just a few minutes, they will be starting on Tuesday and ending on Monday. I usually have plans on Tuesday nights so it would be difficult for me to do approval runs after about 4 oclock which would effectively make the contest end early. And I can’t have that, gotta make sure everyone has that last couple hours to get in as many offers as they can.

I want to thank everyone for making The Dragon’s Gold as big of a success it has become. I appreciate my members more than I could possibly tell you, and it far outweighs any problems frauders cause. I have no plans whatsoever to do anything other than continue to make the site the best it can possibly be.

Just wanted to let everyone know where things stand with me and my darn computer problems. I got the parts that I need ordered today and hopefully they will be here tomorrow. I used priority overnight service, so as long as the order is processed today, I should get them tomorrow. Then it is just a matter of me exercising my computer repair expertise! I used to build computers so it shouldn’t be a problem…lol.

As a way of making up for the loss of last week’s contest, I am going to DOUBLE the prizes for this week! Yup that’s right, you read it correctly…DOUBLE. Might as well since no one won anything last week so there is all that gold just sitting there waiting for a home. That will push the top prize to $250!!!

Keep in mind, I still have not gone through any approval runs since Friday afternoon, so any offers you completed since then, I am still waiting to check with the affiliates for approval. And I will still be unable to do any approvals until my computer gets fixed, hopefully tomorrow.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN’T STILL COMPLETE OFFERS! The only difference is that you won’t see any credit applied until I am able to get back on to my affiliates and get the list of approved offers.

Also, any offers that were done last week WILL count towards this week’s contest. Just because the contest wasn’t able to finish does NOT mean that all of the effort you put in will be wasted. And with the huge amount of prize money that will be given away this week, I would really recommend putting in as much work as you possible can!

I appreciate your patience everyone, it has been a pretty trying couple of days that’s for sure. However, as with the problems I have had accessing the Internet in the past, all will be resolved soon and I will be back better than ever!

If you are looking for ways other than offers to earn money, The Dragon’s Gold has now added Paid to Click ads. Read the following update from the admin for more info:

I have been getting a lot of requests from members to introduce Paid to Click offers and after much deliberation and research, I went ahead and set it up! If you are not familiar with PTC, basically it is offers that instead of actually filling in information and submitting it to the site, all you have to do is click the offer and visit the site! That’s it! Now understandably, these offers are not worth as much as the regular offers that you see on the site but think of how much less work it is! Not to mention, if you click the link, stay on the site for the required amount of seconds you will ALWAYS get the credit for it. No more wondering if you will get approved or not, if you meet the requirements, you will get the credit.

As well as the offers I will be putting up, this is an extremely valuable and inexpensive method of advertising. To buy PTC ads, simply click the Buy Advertising option in the top menu and go from there. All I ask is that if you do decide to purchase this type of advertising, please put the amount of time that the member must stay on the page as well how many days the member must wait in order to click the offer again in the title. This way the member will know exactly what to do in order to receive credit.

Obviously, these offers will not apply with any of our current contests, they are completely separate. However, if enough ads are posted and the interest is high enough, I might add a couple contests for it.

Hey there everyone,

Well, I have to say that the contest this week was a little disappointing, numbers-wise. I have to say though that I am really not surprised. With the week starting with so many disappointments, I kind of expected it to be pretty slow. Not only did I have to end up banning a couple of members who really were active in the contests, their actions caused me to have to remove a ton of the new offers. Without new material it is a little difficult for people who have worked the site for a while to place.

However, it’s a new contest week and in my opinion a fresh start. In no way did the damage done in the beginning of the week jeopardize the site on a permanent basis, we are here and are NOT going anywhere.

As bizarre as the logic may seem, with the banning of the offenders comes the opportunity for other members to see their names up on the winner’s list. I am going to be a little more vigilant from now on though, I will be actively checking to make sure that this does not happen again. I have recently joined a forum strictly for GPT admins and we share information, so if you are duplicating offers or have offended on other sites, we will find out. I am done with my honest members losing out because of some idiots decide to try and pull a fast one.

So let’s put in a big effort this week everyone! I will be actively searching for new material to make sure to give everyone a fair shake. Take care everyone, have a great night.
